On 1 December 2012, the 2012 Seminar of Marine Insurance Law Committee of China Maritime Law Association was held in Beijing Tulip Hot Spring Garden Resort. Sixteen persons attended the seminar, including Judge Fu Xiaoqiang from the 4th civil court of the Supreme People's Court, Specialist Wang Haiming, General Manager Zou Zhihong and Section Chief Mo Yanbing of the Law Department, Vice-General Manager Feng Jianhua and Section Chief Han Yanhua of Shipment Insurance Department, Vice- Section Chief Huang Shanyue, Senior Manager Cheng Mingquan of the 3rd Section of Claim Department from PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited head office, General Manager Ye Changzao of Compass Department from China Pacific Insurance(group) Co., Ltd. Mr. Colin Yang, managing partner from Yang & Lin attended the seminar.
The seminar made introduction and discussion towards the 13th draft of the second judicial interpretation of Insurance Law drafted by the Supreme People's Court, and made analysis and discussion of several marine insurance claims.
