On 19 April and 20 April of 2013, China Maritime Law Association held the 13th Member Meeting, the 13th Council and 2012 Maritime Law Seminar in Beijing. Colin Y F Yang, managing partner of our law firm, was elected director of the 13th China Maritime Law Association.
Since 2002, Colin Y F Yang has been served as director of China Maritime Law Association.
Colin Y F Yang gave a lecture on the topic of “Brief Analysis of the Calculation Standard of Overdue Interest and Penalty” at the seminar held on the morning of the 20th day. The moderators were Wang Yanjun, vice chief judge of the 4th Civil Court of the Supreme People’s Court and Li Hu, secretary-general of China Maritime Law Association. Colin Y F Yang’s speech was spoken highly of by the moderators and the attendees.
