In May 2012, Director Colin Yang from our law firm was elected one of the deputies in the 8th Guangzhou Lawyer Congress. The term is four years, from May 2012 to April 2016.
For the time being, there are more than 7000 lawyers with lawyer license in Guangzhou. Among them, there are 169 lawyers elected deputies of the 8th Guangzhou Lawyer Congress.
The first meeting of the 8th Guangzhou Lawyer Congress was held in Ming Quan Ju from 26 May to 28 May 2012. Mr. Wan Qingliang， Member of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, gave a significant speech in the closing ceremony. Lawyer Colin Yang attended this Congress.
