In the morning of 27 May 2015, the Marine Transportation Regulations Research of Council of China Institute of Navigation held the 8th general election at Beijing. Director Colin Y F Yang of our law firm was elected as the 8th Vice-director with honor. Mr. Yang is the only lawyer representative among the 9 Vice-diretors.
Mr. Yang was also the 7th Vice-director of the Marine Transportation Regulations Research of Council of China Institute of Navigation and the only lawyer representative among the 11 Vice-diretors.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Marine Transportation Regulations Research of Council of China Institute of Navigation held the first section of the 8th academic conference. Mr. Yang gave a lecture of “Discussion on Several Issues Concerning Oil Pollution Damage from Ships”. His lecture was highly praised by the participants.
