China Pacific Life Insurance Co. Ltd (CPIC) held a seminar “Get to the Bottom of Recovery of Cargo Transportation Insurance (Southern Area)” in Fuzhou from 25 to 27 April 2018. Present at the seminar are Zhuang Yue the deputy general manager, Zeng Qiongmei manager, Li Congrong the senior underwriting officer of the non-automobile department of the headquarter, as well as relevant leaders and professionals from CPIC branches and maritime centers in Fujian, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Dongguan, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, etc, about 40 people in total.

Director Yang was invited by the non-automobile department of the CPIC headquarter to give a lecture on “Analysis of Several Issues on Recovery of Cargo Transportation Insurance”. He related to some successful cases of Yang & Lin Co. Law Firm to give a detailed analysis on legal issues of recovery of cargo insurance by waterway and by highway. He also talked about how amendment to maritime law is related to cargo insurance and vessel insurance, and answered a number of questions by the audience. Director Yang received high praise from the leaders and professionals for his enlightening and interesting presentation.
