Under the background of the fortieth anniversary of reform and opening up, the first Guangdong Enterprise Legal Summit Forum opened in Guangzhou on 27 September 2018 to better promote the win-win cooperation between enterprise legal personnel and lawyers, and to set up a common communication platform. The Forum was guided by the Guangdong Department of Justice, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (the People’s Government of Guangdong Province), and the Guangdong Federation of Industry & Commerce, hosted by Guangdong Lawyers Association, co-hosted by the State-owned Enterprise Counsel Association of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, etc., and sponsored by Guangzhou Enterprises Mergers and Acquisition Service, Guangzhou Notary Association, Yang & Lin Co Law Firm, Sino-Win Law Firm, Guangzhou Nanfang Notary Office. The forum invited legal experts, authoritative judges of the Supreme Court, senior lawyers, and general counsel of well-known enterprises to give keynote speeches and share experience. Some 700 people, including leaders in charge of enterprise legal affairs, senior lawyers and relevant legal personnel in Guangzhou, attended the forum to discussed the hot topic of corporate legal affairs.
