On 27 November 2019, 2019 Guangdong Shipping Insurance Forum was successfully held in Guangzhou Baiyun International Meeting Center. Mr. Zhou Yanli, the member of the national committee of CPPCC and ex-vice director of China Insurance Regulatory Commission, and Mr. Pei Guang the director of the Guangdong Bank Insurance Regulatory Commission made keynote speeches on the meeting. Also present at the meeting were general directors of Guangdong branch offices of a variety of insurance companies, including Mr. Zhang Daoming from the PICC, Mr. Yu Baoyu from the CPIC, Mr. Shi Hequn from Ping An, Mr. Wu Ziqiang from China Insurance. About 200 people attended the meeting, and they were from Guangdong Bank Insurance Regulatory Commission, Guangdong Province Navigation Group Co., Ltd , insurance company, Guangdong insurance industry associations, ship companies, universities and colleges, etc.
Director Yang Yunfu and Doctor Lin Cuizhu, the senior partners of Guangdong Yang & Lin Co Law Firm, were invited to attend the meeting as the only two lawyers on site.
This large-scale and high-standard meeting was a great promotion to the development of shipping insurance in Guangdong.
