At about 1830 hrs on 20 March 2012 and at about 1915 hrs on 23 March 2012, the journalists of CCTV news center interviewed Director Yang Yunfu of our law firm twice about the case of the sinking of South Korean vessel “KENOS ATHENA” at Shanwei Guangdong which is handled by our law firm. CCTV-13 Channel respectively reported the above-mentioned two interviews on the Live News at 1418 hrs on 21 March 2012, on the News 30 Minutes at noon of 24 March 2012 and on the Live News at 1728 hrs on 24 March 2012. In addition, Guangdong Satellite TV also reported the second interview of Director Yang Yunfu of our law firm by the journalists of CCTV news center on Guangdong News Broadcast on 24 March 2012.
On 13 March 2012, the South Korean cargo vessel “KENOS ATHENA” sank at the waters of Shanwei Guangdong. The vessel was loaded with about 7000 tons of sulfuric acid. This accident is the biggest sulfuric acid shipwreck accident ever at the waters of our country.
